Rock Royalty

Loving this shade of Shellac I’m currently wearing. It’s from their new winter collection, a gorgeous deep purple shade called Rock Royalty

I’m totally addicted to Shellac! I have been wearing it on my nails almost non-stop since I had my first Shellac application in January. My nails have never looked healthier, even without Shellac on them. Having Shellac on my nails for a long period has actually improved their condition!

I went without Shellac for about a month, just to see how my nails would look afterwards. And because I was so impressed with their condition while the Shellac was on, I wanted to see how they would survive without. Surprisingly their condition still looked good – although they didn’t grow too much – remember I’m very hard on my hands – they weren’t peeling off like before. Shellac is, without a doubt one of the best nail systems on the market and I highly recommend it! I’m so glad to have it back on my nails again 🙂

This Rock Royalty shade inspired me to get creative with my makeup and accessories too. Take a look…

I tried a “purple royalty” look on my eyes using two different shades of purple from Inglot and NYX. On the bottom lash line I used an eye crayon in Violet from Dior and a black Inglot gel liner to line my upper lids. Then finished off with a burgundy mascara from YSL, Mascara Volume Effect Faux Cils in number 5.

I also found these gorgeous rock-n-roll star studded earrings from Mr Price! Aren’t they b-e-a-utiful?
