L’Oréal have really upped their game with their L’Or Lumiere Collection. I mean, L’Oréal are on top of the game with all their makeup collections, but this one is definitely my favourite so far!
Lights, luminance, sparkle and texture. What more could a girl ask for?
So let me start with the star of the collection…
Lumi Magique Pearl Powder
When I first laid eyes on this beaut, I was in awe! I mean, just look how gorgeous it is!
For a product that retails under R200 bucks, it certainly looks extremely luxe and really expensive!
It’s a gorgeous iridescent powder and the next best thing next to my fave highlighting powder of all time, Poudre Signee De Chanel Illuminating Powder.
Lumi Magique Pearl Powder has great dimension that looks natural on the skin, giving your cheeks a subtle glow that’s gorgeous but not too overdone – just the way I like it.
I love the pop of rose shimmer in this powder that highlights the cheeks even further.
It is available in two shades, Rose Boudoir and Rose Radieux and this my friends, is a limited edition, so you’ll need to get your hands on it and quick!
Colour Riche Mono Eye Shadow
Lately I’ve been using mostly matt eyeshadows and for some reason, my shimmery eyeshadows have taken a back seat. After trying out these, I remembered why I love shimmery shadows in the first place!
But let’s just say that not all shimmery shadows are created equal. You have to find one that has a perfect formula, with teeny-tiny particles that allow you to blend it nicely without leaving chunks of shimmer on your lids.
There are three shades in this collection; Opalescent, Soleil Levant and Plume de Paon which are all beautiful and will remain in L’Oréal’s makeup collection.
They have a gel-infused texture that makes application super easy, but the best way to apply them, for maximum colour payoff is with your fingertips.

Colour Riche Lip Extraordinaire
A girl can never have too many lip products to play with. Right now, I am really loving these! The colours are just gorgeous and they have a really great texture. Although the colour doesn’t last too long, these lip goodies are the perfect balance between lipstick and lipgloss.
For this collection, there are two new colours; Rose Finale and Nude Vibrato. My fave being Rose Finale. It’s a shade that will suit any skin tone and any age group!
Color Riche Le Vernis
Another limited edition, part of this collection is the nail polish Color Riche Le Vernis in Sheer Gold.
It’s a beautiful, textured nail polish that gives your nails an elegant iridescent sparkle. I love how the shade changes under different light situations.
All in all, a beautiful collection that will brighten up your spring/ summer mood.
