I got my Ray-Ban’s on…

and as Rihanna would say… “I’m feeling hella cool”! I’ve always loved Ray-Ban sunglasses, because lets face it, Ray-Ban’s are hella cool! Ray-Ban aviators on the other hand are even cooler… Think Top Gun, Jennifer Aniston, just about every rock star and even our very own Locknville, who are all Ray-Ban aviator fans.

Never mind the coolness, these are the perfect sunnies to take on holiday thanks to the super slim case. I took mine with me on holiday to Greece and Dubai and I could fit them -plus more- in my sling bag, which is another holiday must!

Here are some holiday pics from my trip…

Here I am in Athens at Syntagma Square. Syntagma is in front of the Greek Parliament, which also used to be the King’s Palace back in the day. It’s a great tourist attraction and if you’re in Athens you should go by and check out the changing of the Evzones’s. Evzones are super tall (as you can see from my pic) guards that stand by the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier.

You can stand next to the Evzone and have your picture taken, but are warned by the Army solider on guard, that you’re not allowed to touch or speak to them. As you can see, I was quite nervous standing next to this Evzone! He has a loaded rifle and I didn’t want to have my head blown off! lol

I love these pics my hubby took of me in Dubai! We went on a dessert safari, which was awesome! You go in groups in Land Cruisers that go “Dune Bashing” on the way to an Arabic-styled evening under a tent. Dune bashing is quite fun, but definitely not something you’d want to do if you’re prone to car sickness. Thankfully though, I’m not.

On our last day in Dubai, we went spice shopping (how can you not?) followed by a little boat trip across the creek. In the water, you get to see Dubai from a whole new perspective and the boat trip is quite authentic and fun. Plus, it only costs 1AED (that’s about R2.20) for a trip, or you can have your own private boat trip for 60AED. Watching the sunset on the river is amazing, I would highly recommend it and a great way to end an awesome trip in Dubai.

FYI my Ray-Bans are the small frame RB3025 lenses with brown gradient lenses and gold frames. The full code for them, in case you want to check them out is 3025 001/51 55014

Hope you liked my pics…

Thanks Vanessa! Lol, Dubai is very much like SATC2, so many things happened while we were there that made me think of the movie.
