Durban fashionista’s can do a hop, a skip and a jumpity jump! ZARA is finally open at Gateway – the second ZARA to open in South Africa! Sorry Cape Town! Trust me, we need it more than you do, although it’s your turn next!
Last night, I was lucky enough to score an invite to the launch and be one of the first Durbanites to check out the store. The store opened officially this morning, so I’m sure there are plenty happy Durban shoppers trotting around Gateway with their ZARA bags like it’s the hot new accessory of the season. Well it is! The store is filled to the brim with gorgeous everything! The layout, ahh-mazing and the clothes, well we all know ZARA rocks! The space is welcoming and although there is plenty of stock to choose from, it’s not cluttered and messy! Everything is visible and I love how they’ve created mini looks, by hanging a gorgeous jacket to wear with the dress on display!
I must admit, I had to walk around the store like five times before I could decide what I wanted – seeing as I wanted it all! It was hard work I tell you, hard work!
Now I may not have been the first person to shop up a storm at ZARA Durban (my spree is coming soon), but I was the first person in the fitting room! Yay for breaking records. I was too hot and too exited to try everything on, but I fell in love with this electric blue top and it was the only one in my size, so it was really a matter of life or death! In case you’re wondering, yes, its all mine now! Preddy Preddy!
So what’s in store you ask? Well, everything! I took some snaps – sorry if some of them came out a little blurred, I didn’t feel like lugging my DSLR along. But, at least you can get the picture…
